Fall 2026 Athletics Information

Start Dates

• Melican Middle School
  Begins September 2, 2026
  • Grades 6–8: Cross Country
  • Grades 7–8: Field Hockey, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer
• Trottier Middle School
  Begins September 2, 2026
  • Grades 6–8: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer
• All High School Fall Sports
  Begin August 24, 2026

Registration Information

• Registration Opens: June 8, 2026
• High School Deadline: August 18, 2026 (end of day). Registration is closed.
• Middle School Deadline (Melican & Trottier): August 28th, 2026 (end of day)

Please continue to monitor the website for updates regarding whether registration will reopen. If registration does reopen, please be aware that, due to the volume of registrations we have received and the time required to process, review, and clear each registration, athletes will not be eligible to participate on Day 1 (August 24). Athletes may only participate once their registration has been fully processed and they have been officially cleared to participate.

Athletic Fees

• Algonquin High School:
  $200 per season, per student-athlete. Payment center opens Thursday, August 27^th, 2026
  Payment options: Check, cash, or online via the Athletics tab → School Online Payment Center
• Melican & Trottier Middle Schools:
  Please contact each school directly for athletic fee information

Fall Sports Night (Required)

All middle and high school fall student-athletes and their families are required to attend.

• Date: Tuesday, September 1st, 2026
• Location: Algonquin Auditorium
• Time: 5:30 PM (General Meeting)
• Team Meetings: Begin at 6:15 PM in the auditorium immediately following the presentation
